Statistical Consulting Process

Research Topic

The beginning of the consulting process involves identifying a research topic and the necessary steps to explore the research topic with care to how data is to be collected.

Data Management

Data may be collected via the web, survey, experiment, or other methods and stored in various mediums such as spreadsheets or databases. Alpha Analysis will take the raw data, clean the data, and house the data in a storage medium that is the best fit for the client's current information technology systems.

Analyze

The data will be analyzed using a statistical package that is the best fit for the process considering the client's current computer systems, cost, and using the best statistical methods to explore the research topic.

Conclusions

Results are generally presented in a white paper with all relevant statistical tests, tables, code, and a summary explaining results and recommendations. Results can also be presented on-site.

Implementation

Alpha Analysis can work with the client information technology group to implement conclusions.  If the process needs to be performed on a regular schedule such as weekly or quarterly Alpha Analysis can automate.
