Predictive Modeling

Predictive modeling is a process in which a variety of input data such as historical, survey, web, or transactional data is put through a variety of statistical and data mining techniques to make predictions about future events. Proper Sample Size and Statistical Power

Determining sample size is extremely important in a research study. Samples that are too large can waste time, resources and money while samples that are too small may lead to inaccurate results and low statistical power. A study with low statistical power is not worth undertaking. Alpha Analysis can easily determine the minimum sample size needed to begin a research study or process improvement study, even in extreme cases where data might not be readily available or easy to obtain.
